To take part in our Intermediate and Advanced courses, you will need to have mastered the waterstart.

We'll start things off by checking what you have learned and filling in the gaps. Next we'll look at improving your body position so you can learn to ride safely and confidently in both directions.
Conditions permitting, we'll have you sailing upwind in just a short time!
Who knows? You might even want to try a few small jumps.
Our instructors may choose to use the centre's video camera for post-session visual feedback.

To ensure you get as much time as possible on the water we have designed our intermediate and advanced courses using what
we call the 'semi-private system': this means that 2 students share one instructor, while each student has his/her 'own' kite-equipment.

You can choose between 3 different options, depending on your skill-level:

  • 6 hours Intermediate Course
  • 10 hours Intermediate Course
  • 6 hours Advanced Course

Intermediate Course 6 hours - 335 €

If you can already stand up on the board and now want to ride more.

Minimum level required:
You have more or less learned the waterstart and can ride for a few meters.

From level 2 (Waterstart) to level 3 (Riding) 6 hours 335 € 2

1. Session (2 hours)

Waterstart
  • repeat a quick water - relaunch of the kite
  • repeat quickly the theorie of the waterstart
  • waterstarts in both directions 
  • using the edge of the board 
  • enjoy the speed

2. Session (2 hours)

Riding Downwind

  • as you are now riding downwind, 
  • you will get taught the rules of way in order to avoid accidents 
  • learn how to change riding direction by footsteering (edging) 
  • make transitions

3. Session (2 hours)

Control your speed

  • learn how to ride fast and stop speed by edging 
  • Get orientation on the water
  • try to come back to the beach on the same point where you started.

The 6-hour Intermediate Course takes place over 3 consecutive days (2 hours / day). Sessions start from 13.00, directly in front of the centre in our official kitesurfing- teaching zone. This zone is exclusively reserved for our kite-students and is separate from the expert zone.

Our experienced and motivated kitesurf instructors are all IKO and FFVL qualified. Lessons are available in Spanish, English, French, German and Dutch.

The Intermediate courses are organised in small groups of 2 students per instructor. Each student has his/her own kite this is our 'Semi-private System'.

All equipment is from the current North Kiteboarding range and is included in the lesson price. Wetsuits, harnesses, lifejackets and helmets are also provided.
You can use your own kiting equipment if you prefer.

In addition to fun and learning, client safety is a major priority. Our instructors are trained to ensure maximum safety. A rescue launch is available in case of emergencies (opening-hours only).

Become an independent rider – learn to ride back to your starting point.

Minimum level required:
You have mastered the waterstart and ride downwind with no problems.
